Hammermill paper is excited to partner with the NAFF in producing their science-based Truth About Trees kit. Together, we hope to educate more than 75,000 students across North America about the importance of sustainable forestry and wood products. Stewardship and sustainability
Hammermill’s business depends on sustainability. When forested land works, it remains forested rather than being “developed” and put to some other, non-renewable, use. Sustainably managing forests protects them and allows them to continue cleaning the air. Trees are a naturally renewable resource and the paper produced is also recyclable.
Production of renewable and recyclable paper keeps the circular economy moving.And responsible forest management provides improved air and water quality, protects wildlife, provides recreation opportunities, and mitigates the effects of climate change.
The commitment to sustainability runs deep and influences all that Hammermill does. Fiber is sourced within 500 miles of the mills and 100% of Hammermill’s fiber comes from sustainably managed forests.
